In just one year, the Muslim Student Association (MSA) has made its presence known at the University of New Haven since its virtual beginning on March 15, 2021. From World Hijab Day celebrations to interfaith panels, fashion shows and more, the organization has continued to grow since its founding.

On Feb. 24, the Undergraduate Student Government Association (USGA) and the Myatt Center for Diversity and Inclusion hosted an open forum to facilitate discussions about performative activism. Danielle Cooper, a criminal justice professor at the university and director of research at the Tow Youth Justice Institute, helped guide these discussions with the audience. This year, Diwali is celebrated from Nov. 2-6, with the main celebration being on Nov. 4.
Halloween came early at the University of New Haven as children from the West Haven area dressed as superheroes, mermaids, unicorns, cats, angels and more filled the outside of the Charger Gymnasium on Oct. 29 for a trunk-or-treat. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the event with various Charger Athletics sports teams.
